Before Fishes Loaves and before I knew God, my life was in shambles. My sister and I were left under the care of our grandparents because our mother, at just 18 gave birth to my sister and then me. She couldn’t raise us both. It was normal to face days when three meals seemed like a distant luxury, many times attending school on empty stomachs. To survive, I resorted to stealing, earning myself a reputation as a disruptive and unruly child, deemed untrustworthy by the community.
Meeting MC church and FL changed everything! The deep-seated hatred I harbored toward my parents vanished. The hurt, unforgiveness, and unworthiness released their grip on my heart. Repenting, I felt peace for the first time, realizing that what I received was loveālove and freedom from a God who cared deeply for me. Over the years, healing and transformation unfolded. Embracing love and forgiveness, I became more loving and dependable. Contentment filled me, and I witnessed God meeting my needs. Becoming a scholar and actively participating in the daily feeding program ensured hunger was a thing of the past. Truly, God took what the enemy meant for harm and turned it into good. From being a person no one believed in, I emerged as someone trusted, elected as a class mayor and a leader in the student body at the College of Education in my current school.
I live grateful everyday for the love that I received that has forever changed me. I am driven to give back and pay this forward, that I too may impact lives with God’s love.
